is this tournament really going to happen. and where and for how much.

I talked with Phil (Dr Doom in the videos) for a few hours on Wednesday night at worlds, and he told me that he's using the video and the site to showcase what style of television show could be used to pitch to television execs and make it attrictive / understandable to the viewing audience. So what would it take to get your dad to watch a show about foosball on tv?.

It's all very prelimary at this point, and I can't share much, but my guess is its only going to happen if some televiision network picks it up.

But it's likely to happen somewhere the hollywood people can get to, and likely to be worth enough money to make it interesting to the viewing audience. once things get on tv, then sponsors are easily obtainable - so one can only imagine the money involved.

But keep in mind, (and some might not get it) but this is not about who's the best foosball players, its about showcasing foosball in an enternaining fashion,
